Climbers can walk on the cable with better safety equipment harnesses, carabiners, and lanyards that attach the body to the main cable. This method not only makes the journey more efficient but also provides an opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view of the Jayawijaya Mountains from an unmatched angle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although safer than the old method, the Tyrolean Traverse still requires focus and courage. Every step on the rope is a combination of technique, balance, and confidence. The strong cold wind and towering cliffs on the right and left make this moment feel so special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For many climbers, crossing the Tyrolean Traverse is one of the highlights of climbing Carstensz Pyramid.
